Andre Holland is joining the cast of the White House based drama series ‘1600 Penn’.
Holland will be joining Josh Gad, Bill Pullman and Brittany Snow in the Twentieth Century Fox production which revolves around the life of the first family inside the White House. He will portray the role of Marshall Malloy, the current Press Secretary of the White House.
Known for his role in ‘Friends with Benefits’, Holland joins Bill Pullman as the president and the rest of his family as they try to resolve day to day issues including the comeback of the oldest son of the family, portrayed by Josh Gad, and becomes the first family’s biggest liability. Holland will also be working with Brittany Snow who portrays the role of the over achieving sister of Josh Gad.
‘1600 Penn’ is a single camera comedy show written and produced by Josh Gad and Jason Winer who is also the director of ‘Modern family’ and a former speech writer of President Brack Obama.
Holland has joined the cast on the pilot episode of the series, which was directed by Winer.
